Elegant health tracker inspired by Dribbble. Built and shipped by devShakib.
A minimal and elegant BMI calculator featuring smooth animations and an intuitive interface designed from a Dribbble concept.
Body mass index is mass divided by height squared, devised by Adolphe Quetelet in the 1830s as a way of describing populations rather than individuals. That origin is the source of every criticism of it: it cannot distinguish muscle from fat, and it misclassifies athletes and older adults in opposite directions.
Building one from a visual concept is mostly an animation and input problem. Height and weight are continuous values that people enter imprecisely, so the interesting design decisions are about the picker — how much precision to demand, whether to support both metric and imperial without cluttering, and how the result reacts as the numbers move.
