Break a URL into scheme, host, path, query parameters and fragment. Free, runs entirely in your browser — no signup, and nothing you paste in is uploaded.
A URL has more parts than people hold in their head, and the ones that cause bugs are the boundaries. The fragment after `#` is never sent to the server, which is why putting a token there is a genuine privacy feature and putting state there is invisible to your logs. The query string starts at the first `?` and everything after is the server's business, not the URL spec's.
Query parameters are the messiest part, because nothing standardises repeats. `?a=1&a=2` might mean a list, or the last value winning, or the first — it depends entirely on the framework parsing it. If a value can repeat, check what your own stack does rather than assuming.
