Evaluate expressions with trig, logs, powers and constants. Free, runs entirely in your browser — no signup, and nothing you paste in is uploaded.
Expression evaluation follows precedence rather than left-to-right entry, which is the main difference from a basic calculator and the source of most disagreements about a result. Implied multiplication next to a division is genuinely ambiguous notation, and different systems resolve it differently — parentheses are the only way to be certain.
The trigonometric functions need their unit checked before anything else. Radians are the mathematical default and most programming languages use them; degrees are what most people mean when typing sin(30). Getting a plausible but wrong answer from the wrong mode is the classic error, because nothing looks broken.
