Create modern multi-color mesh gradient backgrounds and export them as PNG.
A mesh gradient is several radial gradients layered and blurred until their edges dissolve into each other. There is no CSS mesh gradient primitive, so what looks like one surface is usually a stack of blurred blobs — which is why exporting to PNG is often the sensible move for a static background.
Colour choice does most of the work. Hues close together on the wheel blend into something that reads as one atmosphere; hues far apart produce a grey seam where they meet, because interpolating through sRGB passes near the middle of the cube. Picking analogous colours avoids the problem entirely.
