Add classic top/bottom captions to an image and export a shareable PNG.
The classic format has specific typography: heavy condensed sans, uppercase, white with a black outline, top and bottom. The outline is not decoration — it is what keeps the words legible over an arbitrary photograph without a box behind them.
Exporting a flattened PNG is what makes it shareable, since a caption applied as an overlay only exists where that overlay is rendered. Worth remembering that text baked into an image is invisible to search and to screen readers, so anything you would want read out belongs in the accompanying post as well.
