Convert Markdown into clean HTML you can paste anywhere. Free, runs entirely in your browser — no signup, and nothing you paste in is uploaded.
Markdown's appeal is that the plain text is already readable, and its weakness is that there is no single Markdown. Tables, footnotes, strikethrough and fenced code blocks are extensions, not part of the original spec, so the same document can render differently in two places that both claim to support it.
The rule worth carrying is that Markdown deliberately allows raw HTML to pass through. That is handy when you need one thing the syntax does not cover, and a genuine hazard the moment the Markdown came from someone else — converting untrusted input means you are also passing through whatever tags it contained.
