Draw boxes to black out or blur sensitive parts of a screenshot, then export a safe PNG.

The only safe redaction is destructive. Drawing an opaque box and exporting a new flattened image removes the pixels underneath; anything that merely covers them — a layer in a document, a highlight annotation in a PDF — leaves the original data in the file for anyone who opens it in a different reader.

Blur deserves specific suspicion. A light blur over short, predictable text is reversible in practice, because an attacker can blur candidate strings the same way and compare. For anything that matters — a token, an account number, a name — use a solid box rather than a blur.
