Squeeze

Batch-compress photos to hit an exact size — email, web, or chat ready, all on-device.

Hitting an exact file size is a search rather than a setting. JPEG quality maps to size unpredictably because it depends on the image content — a photograph of foliage compresses far worse than a photograph of sky — so reaching a target means encoding, measuring and adjusting.

The limits worth knowing are the ones you keep meeting: many mail servers cap attachments around 25MB, and messaging apps recompress aggressively on their own terms. Compressing deliberately beforehand generally produces a better result than letting a platform do it, since you control which quality is traded away.
