Bulk-rename files with a live, safe preview — find/replace, templates and numbering, all on-device.
Bulk renaming is a small operation with an unusually large blast radius, because it touches many files at once and the undo story is poor — once a hundred files have new names, reconstructing the old ones from memory is not realistic.
Which is why the preview is the feature and the renaming is the easy part. The failures worth catching before committing are collisions, where two files resolve to the same new name and one silently replaces the other, and numbering that sorts wrongly because it lacks leading zeros — file 10 landing between 1 and 2 is the classic.
