A private mood and gratitude journal — log how you feel, spot patterns, on-device.
Mood tracking is used clinically because memory for emotional states is unreliable in a specific direction: recall is dominated by peaks and by how something ended, so a week with two bad hours can be remembered as a bad week. A log written at the time is not subject to that.
Pairing it with gratitude is a deliberate combination. Gratitude journalling has some of the better-replicated results in the field, with the caveat that frequency matters — a few times a week outperforms daily, because doing it every day makes it routine and the effect fades. Privacy is not incidental for a journal of how you feel.
