Drop in two blobs of text, JSON or config and get a clean, structural diff — on-device, nothing uploaded.
A structural diff and a text diff answer different questions. Line-by-line comparison is right for prose and code, where a line is roughly a unit of meaning. For JSON and config it is misleading, because reordering keys or reformatting changes every line while changing nothing at all.
Comparing structure instead — the same keys with the same values, regardless of order or whitespace — is what you want when checking whether two API responses actually differ. The comparison worth running more often than people do is the same config from two environments, where drift is one flag or one timeout that nobody has read in months.
