Plan your morning, reflect on your evening — a daily reset loop with a weekly review and a calendar of how each day went.
Pairing a morning plan with an evening reflection closes a loop that either half alone leaves open. Planning without review means never learning whether the plan was realistic; reviewing without planning means assessing a day nobody shaped.
The reflection is where the value concentrates, and the evidence on written reflection is reasonably strong — it improves performance on the next iteration more reliably than additional effort does. A weekly view adds the pattern layer: individual days are noisy, and it is at the week's scale that you can see which commitments were never realistic in the first place.
